An extended meeting on road safety in the Barents countries was held on February 17-18 in the Arkhangelskavtodor agency.

A 2-day seminar is attended by road companies’ representatives from Sweden, Norway, Komi and Karelia Republics, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, and Tyumen oblasts.

Main topics of the international meeting are road safe-keeping and integrity, and implementation of intellectual transport systems.

Arkhangelskavtodor director Mikhail Yakovlev emphasized relevance and practical orientation of the forum.

On February 18^th the guests visited the Arkhangelskavtodor Road Management Center, Uima secondary school, and the Open-Air Museum of Wooden Architecture “Malye Korely”.
