Chinese company has confirmed its participation in two projects, namely, the construction of the railway “Belkomur” and a deep-water port in Arkhangelsk, as the Governor of the Arkhangelsk region Igor Orlov informed RIA Novosti.

  – Poly Technologies announced its intentions regarding the two projects within the framework of the 19th session of the Russian-Chinese Commission for regular meetings of Heads of Government held in Beijing under the chairmanship of the Vice-Premier of State Council of China.  In the near future it is planned to sign an intergovernmental Memorandum on the implementation of projects, taking into consideration their concession, as Igor Orlov stated.

The Governor emphasized the today’s development of technological and financial models of projects regarding the interests of the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation. Both states are very concerned in the projects mentioned above due to the fact that additional transport route will encircle the Northern sea route through the ports of Arkhangelsk and Murmansk to ensure the transit of goods, – Igor Orlov stressed.  

The projects will contribute to the development of the Russian territories of the Arkhangelsk, Murmansk and Perm regions and the Republic of Komi.
