Within the last two weeks the northerners had the opportunity to get acquainted with the exotic beauty of India.
The first day of the festival was marked for the guests with their participation in the slide lecture where different Indian dance styles were demonstrated. They also took part in two master classes. During the second day yoga master classes as well as Indian classical dances and mehendi were organized.
The festival ended with a gala night show devoted to Indian national festival – Diwali.
Besides, everyone was able to taste Indian tea, buy some goods from India and watch favorite Indian films.
Arkhangelsk Regional Youth Centre is again the ground for implementation of youth policy projects.
— The northerners are very interested in the culture of India, they offer some interesting projects aimed at strengthening of international cooperation and development of creative initiatives among the youth,- as the Minister on Youth Affairs and Sports Elena Dotsenko said.
The event was organized by Nritya Sabha Foundation of Indian Cultural Heritage Studies (Moscow), Embassy of India (Moscow, Russia) and Arkhangelsk Regional Youth Centre with the support of Arkhangelsk Region Ministry on Youth Affairs and Sports.
